  • Membership Cards: Membership Cards have been added to member profiles in the dashboard, including a scannable QR code to check members in. Click the card icon right of a user's name to bring up their membership card.
  • Barcode Scans: Barcode scans have been added to the dashboard, allowing you to scan any Members barcode field to find a user and check them in.

  • Custom Fields: Attach arbitrary data to users and other objects. Custom fields are first-class objects that can be filtered on, marked as admin-only, and used for complex workflows like custom registration forms or waivers.   • User Groups: Create fully customizable user groups, useful for organizing members into cohorts, teams, families, or any other criteria. See the User Groups API reference for more details.

Initial launch of Members.dev — membership management with a flexible database, subscriptions, entitlements, multi-organization support, and an API-first platform. Read the launch announcement.

  • Subscriptions: recurring and one-off products, renewals, group plans, and automatic invoicing.
  • Benefits: attach benefits to products; track access, credits, discounts, usage, expiry, and points or status balances independent of subscriptions.
  • Organizations: multi-tenant structure for chapters, campuses, franchises, and similar parent–child setups, with per-organization catalogs and admins and roll-up oversight where needed.
  • API: REST API and webhooks for integrations and custom member experiences.
  • Dashboard: admin UI with the same capabilities as the API; team collaboration and customer portal support.
